I live in Napier, Hawke's Bay and I wholeheartedly recommend Hawke's Bay as an amazing place to have your wedding. I love to promote my home region and the vendors here. It's truly an amazing, resource packed, talent filled, friendly and welcoming place for your wedding photography to become treasured parts of your memory.
Photographers in Hawke's Bay are really spoilt for scenery - we have some amazing hills, forests, rivers and beaches here. We even have great architecure with our Art Deco architecture in the cities, the winery infrastructure, and some mordern converted heritage buildings, such as those in Hastings. So you have a lot of choice in Hawke's Bay, both in terms of venues and places to go for your wedding photography and videography.
I have found that a lot of the couples whose weddings I photograph have a connection to Hawke's Bay - one or both partners often grew up here, or have family here, or are moving here to raise a family if they haven't done so already. What I am also seeing is couples with not much a connection at all starting to come here for their wedding and that's when it dawns on you - the region really is that unique and beautiful and the vendors we have here are amazing, friendly, welcoming and talented.
