Photographed by Hawke's Bay Wedding Photographer Michael

I thought that I would blog Hannah and Etienne’s Wedding. They had to move their wedding to Poukawa Hall, Central Hawke’s Bay as their original wedding venue was flooded. Many guests couldn’t make it because SH5 was shut, and Hawke’s Bay was a distaster zone with tens of thousands without power and may homes damaged and lives lost. These guys decided to still have their wedding. They had people all the way from France in New Zealand for the wedding! I am glad they did. I felt uplifted by this wedding, because I had driven through so much loss and devastation getting to the wedding. This was a great occasion because love, connection, celebration still flourishes and people do not wish hardship on two people in love getting married when there is hardship upon them, and if they do, they’re wrong. As a Napier Wedding Photographer I've got to say Central Hawke's Bay looked stunning. As a Hawke's Bay Wedding Photographer I can say that we will be back stronger than ever, you better believe it. Stay safe and well my friends x
