Congratulations to my home girl Makayla aka @marblefox.beauty aka @makayla_beer_ and Chris aka @grizzbeer who tied the knot this past Saturday. I always take it as a compliment when anyone books me, but when they are an industry professional I am very flattered. Also I like that Makayla and Chris are such interesting, vivacious people and that Makayla raves about chocolate cookie recipes to me, gives me tattoo advice, and is so open and welcoming to me.
But homies we didn’t have an easy day. The weather was shiiiiiit leading up to the wedding, and the venue had to be changed at the last minute. People were running around. Stressed vendors, a new venue. And the weather turned a bit nasty when we were having our bridal photos. It sleeted on us. It was cold. It was raining. It was unpleasant to be in. But then the sky opened, and there was a sliver of gold on the horizon. And Makayla was down the hill, and I snapped this and I couldn’t help thinking that this was meant to be and Makayla couldn’t help thinking her father was looking down upon her. And I dare you to prove us wrong x
