Mary & Ben's Engagement Session, Kairakau Beach, Central Hawke's Bay
I hadn't met Ben before and there had been a large delay from when I met Mary to when the wedding was due to happen because of the cyclone and the damage it caused to the region. I had recently been to Kairakau Beach on a family trip and thought it was really beautiful and could not wait to get back here in the golden sun of summer, and so here we found ourselves.
As a Hawke's Bay Photographer I've never felt like there was a shortage of beautiful beaches here, but this beach is most welcome and I am certain I will be back here at some other time to capture some magic. The Wedding Photographer in me was excited for their upcoming wedding, and it didn't disappoint. But the day belonged to us at this magical, new (to me), beach.
