The image above is Libby and Nick seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day on the slopes of Te Mata Peak, Hawke's Bay. As a Hawke's Bay Photographer I am much more used to seeing it looking yellow and straw-like in the busy summer months. However this was an almost-spring wedding (August, technically still winter), and the grass was looking pretty green and lush up there. I've got to say, though, that this was completely befitting a Kiwi groom and Irish bride international union, don't you think? Such a lovely way to kick off the new season, or end the last season? Much discussion was had over which it was, haha!
